About the Station
Kampung Selamat MRT Station situated in Kampung Selamat near to Kampung
Baru Sungai Buloh along the Sungai Buloh-Kajang Line, located at north west
of Kuala Lumpur. The Station started operation on 16 December 2016.
The station has been built based on
Side Platform architecture.
Note: Kampung Selamat Station and Sungai Buloh Station have be part of the
MRT Putrajaya Line on 16 June 2022 when Phase
1 began operations.

Entrances and Exit
The station has three entrances, with Entrance A on the same side of Jalan
Sungai Buloh as the station, and Entrances B and C as well as the link
bridges to the SqWhere SOVO, a mixed development project by Selangor
Dredging Berhad and D'sara Sentral by Mah Sing Group, on the other side of Jalan Sungai Buloh
from the station and linked via a long pedestrian bridge.

Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh
Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh, a new village settlement started by the
British during the Emergency Era due to the communists' threat in Malaya is
nested in Sungai Buloh, Selangor. It is a 15-minute drive from Kampung
Selamat to Kuala Lumpur, the national capital.
There are currently 4 major high schools in Sungai Buloh, namely Sekolah Sri
Bestari, SMK Bandar Baru Sungai Buloh, SMK Bukit Gading and SMK Bukit Rahman
Putra. Sungai Buloh also houses an international school, elc International
School in Sierramas and there is a KTM Komuter station in the middle of
Sungai Buloh that connects to the Rawang - Seremban line.
Attraction Around
If you like to dine at Chinese restaurants (those serving course dishes),
then Kampung Selamat is a great hunting ground to start with. There are a
number of skilled chefs here and each of them have his own specialty and
signature dishes.
But there are so many restaurants to choose from in the new village alone,
so deciding where to eat is the real headache here.
MRT Feeder Bus Services
With the opening of the MRT Kajang Line and Putrajaya Line, MRT feeder bus has
begun operating, linking the station with Kampung Baru Sungai Buloh and area
nearby. The feeder buses operate from the station's feeder bus hub accessed
via Pintu B (Entrance B) at Jalan Sungai Buloh.
