About the Station

Bukit Dukung MRT Station, the Mass Rapid Transit station in Bukit Dukung, southern part of Cheras. Nested within Kajang and Seri Kembangan. The station is located at Sungai Balak interchange of the Cheras–Kajang Expressway and Kajang Dispersal Link Expressway next to Petronas fuel station.

The station has been built based on Side Platform architecture.

Bukit Dukung MRT station have covered car park with 360 car park bays and 83 motorcycle bays. TnG payment is available. More information on Park n' Ride.

Entrances and Exit

The station has two entrances. The feeder buses operate from the station's feeder bus hub via Entrance A inside the MRT Bukit Dukung Area.

Balakong is a huge township in Selangor, Malaysia. Balakong is situated exactly at the boundary of Kajang and Cheras. The township consists mainly of residential houses, condominiums, office complexes and light industrial factories.

According to locals, the name Balakong comes from the Chinese New Village which name is Balakong New Village. The village was drawn up and barred wired by the British government during the Communist Emergency Period.

Balakong consists of various shopping malls that are frequented by tourists and locals, such as MINES Resort City former known as Mines Shopping Mall, Jusco Cheras Selatan, Giant Balakong, Econsave Balakong and Carrefour Bandar Tun Hussein Onn. On the Balakong New Village, there are Selangor Turf Club, Palace of the Golden horses which is a world-class award winning luxury hotel located within Mines Resort City and Serdang KTM Komuter.

The area is served by two international schools, Australian International School Malaysia and Alice Smith School. To anticipate an increase in public demand for better healthcare services and facilities within Balakong and Cheras area in the future, Columbia Asia Hospital, the international healthcare provider is built in year 2010.

MRT Feeder Bus Services

With the opening of the MRT Kajang Line, feeder buses (T453, T454 and T455) has begun operating, linking the station with several housing areas and villages in and near Bandar Sungai Long, Palm Walk 3, Sutera Residences and Taman Sekamat.
