About The Station
The Segambut KTM Komuter Station is a KTM Komuter train halt forms part of a
common KTM Komuter railway line in Port Klang Line. The Station was
exist as early as 1892 and was rebuilt and electrified on November 1995.
The Segambut KTM Komuter Station is named after the township of Segambut, Kuala
Lumpur. The Station was built to cater traffic in Segambut, a suburban area
situated near to Kepong, which is also connected via the
Kepong Komuter Station and the
Kepong Sentral Komuter Station a few kilometres away.
Segambut is a sub-district in Kuala Lumpur with a diverse population base,
from the high-end condominiums of Mont Kiara and Sri Kiara to the
middle-class areas of Taman Sri Segambut and Bandar Manjalara, and the rural
areas of Segambut Dalam and Kampung Sungai Penchala.
