KLCC LRT Station
About the Station
KLCC LRT Station is an LRT station in Kuala Lumpur that served by RapidKL's
Kelana Jaya Line. KLCC Station is underground station located on basement of
Avenue K, a shopping mall along Jalan Ampang.
The Station was opened on 1 June 1999, as part of the line's second segment
encompassing 13 stations between
Masjid Jamek Station and Gombak Station and an
underground line. The KLCC LRT Station is one of five underground
stations in the Kelana Jaya Line.
As an underground station, KLCC LRT Station has pedestrian subway links the
Station to Suria KLCC Shopping Mall and the rest of the KLCC development
which includes the Petronas Twin Towers, Maxis Tower and the Kuala Lumpur
Convention Centre. Located outside the station, along Jalan Ampang and Jalan
P Ramlee, is the KLCC bus hub.
Located right in the middle of the city, and close to many landmarks, KLCC
LRT Station is one of the busiest stations on the LRT system. It is packed
especially on weekends and school holidays.
The pedestrian walkway linking between the Petronas Twin Towers and Pavilion
Kuala Lumpur shopping centre in Bukit Bintang was launched in January 2012
and completed now.
The Persiaran
KLCC MRT Station which is underground station in
MRT Putrajaya Line located about 700 metres
walking distance from Suria KLCC mall and the Petronas Twin Towers, which
are directly served by the KLCC LRT station on the
Kelana Jaya Line, which is also an underground station.
The both stations are not integrated, passengers need to tap out from one
line and resurface to ground level when changing between the two lines. They
should then enter the other underground station to continue their journey.

Entrances and Exits
The Station has only two entry and exit points. One from street level via
escalator access from Avenue K. Another one is from pedestrian subway links
the Station to Suria KLCC Shopping Mall.
Platform Architecture
The KLCC LRT Station, like all other underground Kelana Jaya Line
stations, is of basic construction consisting of only three levels: the
entrance level at street level, and the concourse and platform levels
underground. All levels are linked via escalators and stairways, while
elevators are additionally provided between the concourse level and the
platform level. The Station contains only one island platform for two tracks
of opposite directions, with floor-to-ceiling platform screen doors sealing
the platform from the tracks.
