About the Station

The Bangsar LRT Station is an LRT station in Kuala Lumpur that is served by Rapid KL's Kelana Jaya Line. The Station was named after the affluent residential suburb, Bangsar on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur, lying about 4 kilometres south-west of the city centre.

Bangsar LRT Station is an elevated station located above Jalan Bangsar. Although it is located at Jalan Bangsar, but its location is quite a distance from most parts of Bangsar, this area is named as Bangsar Baru.

The Station was renamed to Bank Rakyat-Bangsar LRT Station after Bank Rakyat was given naming rights by Prasarana Malaysia. It is the first three stations under pilot program of Station Naming Rights since launched in October 2015.

There is a facility for reloading the Touch 'n Go card at the Bank Rakyat & Maybank ATM in this Station.

Platform Architecture

As an elevated station, Bangsar LRT Station has three levels: The access points at street level, and the ticket area and adjoining platforms on two elevated levels. All levels are linked via stairways, escalators and elevators designated for disabled passengers.

Each of the station's two side platforms is used by trains travelling at either direction of the line, and is entirely sheltered by roofs.

Feeder Bus and Other Bus Services

Bangsar LRT Station's bus stops located at street level serve many bus routes, especially those between Kuala Lumpur and the western Klang Valley townships of Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam and Klang.

Feeder bus T850 connecting this Station to MRT Semantan Station and Pusat Bandar Damansara.
