Cherating ECRL Station is an ECRL station serving the Cherating area near the Terengganu–Pahang state boundary. The station is currently under construction and forms part of the Kota Bharu–Gombak section scheduled for completion in December 2026. Passenger services are expected to commence in January 2027. The station will provide access to Cherating and nearby coastal areas.

Attractions around the area include Cherating Beach, Cherating River and the Cherating Turtle Sanctuary. Cherating is also known for its coastal resorts and recreational activities. The station will improve rail access between the Cherating area, other East Coast destinations and the Klang Valley.

Cherating ECRL Station provides convenient car drop-off and pick-up areas for private and e-hailing vehicles. For longer stays, ample parking spaces are available at the rates listed below:
